EPIC FAIL: Kamala’s Hurricane Photo Op Scandal

Kamala Harris’ latest public relations disaster is blowing up faster than the hurricane it was meant to address. A disturbing new revelation from a Florida State Guardsman uncovers the truth behind a staged photo op designed to make Harris look like a savior, while the actual victims of a devastating storm were left waiting for real aid. This is a classic case of government incompetence, deliberate misinformation, and the manipulation of public perception at the highest level.

Photo Ops Over People

In the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia, which hit North Carolina hard, a source from the National Guard revealed that a C-17 cargo plane was loaded with supplies only for Kamala Harris to take a photo in front of it. The plane, originally loaded to aid hurricane victims, was grounded after Harris had her moment in the spotlight. What’s worse, it wasn’t just a logistical mishap—it was a carefully orchestrated photo op designed to give the impression that help was on the way, while in reality, those supplies never left the runway.

According to Jonathan, a Florida State Guardsman who’s been on the ground in multiple relief operations, this wasn’t just a technical glitch. The supplies meant to help hurricane victims were used as a prop for the vice president’s PR stunt. The most damning part? The plane was never intended to fly out that day—it was loaded for show, leaving thousands of people without the help they desperately needed.

Mismanagement and Misdirection

As Jonathan’s story goes, it’s clear this isn’t just about one botched operation. It speaks to a broader failure of leadership at both the state and federal levels. North Carolina’s governor, Roy Cooper, failed to activate the full military response needed to address the catastrophic damage caused by the hurricane. Instead of immediately mobilizing the vast resources of the National Guard and active-duty military based in the state, Cooper delayed, allowing Harris’ PR team to take over and stage a scene that was more about optics than substance.

Cooper’s failure to request federal assistance in time meant that communities were left stranded, while relief efforts were bogged down by bureaucracy. Civilians were forced to step in where the government had failed, with private citizens and former special forces operatives leading rescue missions and delivering supplies.

Jonathan and other former operators, like Green Berets and Navy SEALs, were on the ground coordinating efforts independently, filling the vacuum left by an absent state government. “We were flying in food, insulin, and even epipens to people who had been stranded for days without help,” said Jonathan. He described a scene that resembled The Walking Dead—a patchwork of private rescue teams, each working in isolation because there was no centralized command structure in place to coordinate relief efforts.

The Real Story of the North Carolina Disaster

It wasn’t just Harris who failed; the entire government response was a disaster from top to bottom. National Guard troops and active-duty personnel were kept on standby, unable to assist because they hadn’t been activated by the governor. Many were left waiting for Title 10 orders, authorization that never came. Meanwhile, search-and-rescue teams from out of state were being brought in on contracts, operating for profit, while National Guard units sat idle.

Jonathan points out the absurdity of it all: "Why were they putting out bid notifications for private contractors when the National Guard was already there and ready to go? It’s like they were more interested in turning a profit than saving lives."

This delay in response led to unnecessary suffering. Jonathan recalled an elderly woman they rescued who had only one day’s worth of fuel left to power the generator for her oxygen machine. "She was literally on her last day of life-supporting fuel, and we were the first ones to get to her. It was pure luck we found her when we did."

A Hurricane of Incompetence and Corruption

The botched hurricane response has raised serious questions about the priorities of both Kamala Harris and Governor Cooper. When people’s lives are on the line, it’s clear that PR stunts and bureaucratic red tape took precedence over real action. Harris’ staged photo op was just the tip of the iceberg in a larger pattern of mismanagement and incompetence that has plagued North Carolina’s disaster response.

Why weren’t all available military assets deployed immediately? Why were private contractors brought in for search and rescue, instead of utilizing the resources already in place? And why did it take Harris’ photo op to finally get a C-17 airborne, days after the hurricane had already wreaked havoc?

These are the questions that need to be answered. But one thing is clear: the lives lost and the suffering endured in the wake of Hurricane Idalia didn’t have to happen. The resources were there. The personnel were ready. The failure was in leadership.

PR Over People

In the end, Kamala Harris’ botched hurricane relief photo op isn’t just a scandal—it’s a symptom of a much larger problem. It’s a glaring example of how political optics are prioritized over the real needs of the American people. The government had the power to act, but instead, it put on a show.

In the words of Jonathan, “It didn’t make sense then, and it doesn’t make sense now. The people of North Carolina deserved better, and they didn’t get it.”
